An upper level system and associated surface low moving along the Texas coast should produce significant precipitation over southeast Texas on Saturday. But the GFS and NAM differ in the location of the heaviest precipitation. The GFS has a SW-NE-oriented swath with almost 2 inches of rain over College Station, but the NAM has more of a bullseye over Beaumont, with very little for College Station.
