The NAM MOS and GFS MOS disagree on Thursday's high temperature in Goodland, Kansas. The reason is probably suggested by this from the NWS forecast discussion: "Expect a warming trend today/tonight into Thursday as warm advection persists on the western periphery of the departing surface high." So western Kansas is on the edge of the very cold air mass to the east, with much warmer air over Colorado, making the forecast tricky. Let's predict Tmax and see what happens.
