Assignment: Predict the 24 hr minimum temperature (deg F) for Stanley, ID (KSNT)
It has been quite cold in the West for awhile now. Stanley, Idaho, a mountain (>7000 ft) location northeast of Boise, has one of the lowest predicted minimum temperatures in the nation for Tuesday, and the the NAM MOS forecast is much colder than the GFS MOS. Let's predict Tmin for Stanley and see which model is more correct.
