Continuing with Minnesota Week, let's predict Thursday's minimum temperature at Grand Marais, in the far northeastern corner of Minnesota, on the coastline of mighty Lake Superior. Although it's latitude is only a little lower than International Falls, the average minimum temperature for Grand Marais at this time of year is about 13 F lower than that of International Falls. Why is that?
